On my trailer, I can’t get marking lights to go on. Can anyone confirm that there is no pin that has a constant charge to make this happen. Possibly the number 3 pin is the culprit?

Can anyone share a complete wiring diagram for the trailer lights? I have gone back two connectors from the 7pin and still have no power to the tail light pin.

Is that diagram the order they are on the 200? I’m very new when it comes to wiring. Putting in a rear bumper next week and I’ll need to wire these 3-way Roadvision lights in. Is there an easy way to splice this into the trailer harness?

If you wire them into the trailer lights they will act like trailer lights... I made that mistake on my bumper lights the first time.
Then what happens is the signal and brake are on the "same wire" so both that red light and yellow will light up when you brake.

To do the right you can tap the running light and ground into the trailer wires, but the brake and signal you get from the wire harness that is behind the rear left panel in the cargo area.
There is kind of an orange plug and the wires are there... look at the thread about wiring the ARB rear bumper and there are pictures on it.

I want to test my relay as in the diagram above. 12v to 1&2 should give me continuity between 3 & 5 correct?

relay tested ok

I dropped the spare, hosed it out for any loose dirt and will try and follow the loom to the next connector all the way to the front. Hmm, as I type, I could try grounding the tailight pin and checking continuity where I pulled the relay before I start crawling around too much?

So jumper the taillight pin to the ground pin. If I have continuity then the issue is between the hot side of my fuse and the relay. If no continuity then the open is between the relay and the tracing the loom starts? Sound right?

Brake and turn signals work, only the tail lights don't

if you have continuity between the tail-light pin and ground you have a short; and if no continuity it just means it is normal. you should check for 12 volts.

i would first go check the fuse .. on mine it's under the dash on the driver side. it faces down and has a white panel cover over it right against the left wall.

Last time i had lights not working it was a bad ground on the trailer.

Sorry no continuity between TL pin and ground, so no short.

I have also checked both fuses under the hood and one in the footwell (this doesn't appear in the diagram) and both appear good. I have also tested the relay with 12v and it opens and closes. I have jumped pin 5 (4) and 3 with no change (no TL). If I understand this correctly, turn lights on, power to pins 3 & 1, this closes the relay, pin 3 energizes pin(5) 4 which turns taillights on? If I apply +12v to pin 5(4) the taillights work.

however to add confusion I also find the following diagram for 4 pin relays

Just figured I'd share these notes that I sent someone about wiring up RoadVision rear combination lights. I used the "stop" wire from the vehicle's combination light but for brownie points I'd recommend pulling the turn signals from each light if you have easy access to the junction box. I didn't want to pull out the Trekboxx so I just grabbed one of the wires. Also, note that the wiring color codes for the combination lights differ a bit from year-to-year.

I know this isn't related to your specific use case but thought it could be somewhat helpful.

@indycole care to share any install pics? I'm wanting to add something like that to my rack for better rear visibility, both when towing and in trail dust. I've looked into rear light bars, but most are for side-by-sides and therefore too narrow. Ideally, I'd like the signals and brake to be out toward the edges of the rack.

Sure, what photos would be most helpful to you?

Just a view from the rear. I'd like to see size and shape on the truck to get an idea if they would suit my purpose. Thanks!
