Speyrod, di d you have your engine running to test that pin? I noticed that when I turn on the lights to check the trailer I have had to have the truck running for my trailer clearance lights. Once the clearance lights come on I assume the rest are working because I had a problem with corrosion on my plug. Not sure what position the ignition has to be in to activate the parking lights

If using the factory harness you don't need to have the truck running for the position lights. Click on your parking lights and the trailer lights will come right on, running or not.

Perhaps you started with the truck running then turned it off and the lights turned off on the auto-shutoff timer?

I fixed the f'er, big piece of problem was me. I located the relay and the fuses for the tow and did my testing. in looking for the "sub batt" fuse 40a and couldn't locate it I noticed "tow tail" fooker was blown. replaced it and all works as it should. Feeling stoopid but at least now I can move to the trailer lights which will be easy.

I didn't think there would be 3 fuses for the tow functionality but there are 3. The complexity is kind of crazy.

I guess I know a few more thinks about my truck DOH!

Are you putting these 3 way lights in the bumper as opposed to just backup lights?
I did go ahead and have James add the same 3-way Roadvision lights to my bumper. Same lights he uses on trail tailor bumpers. I'll post up pics on the RLC thread later today of that and my other changes.

Has anyone who has used one of these setups, particularly with the Tekonsha or Curt 2-3 adapter, also have a Redarc trailer brake controller? I'm wondering if the Redarc will think it's connected and light up - or does that nor happen because the brake wire is not connected?
