I have a F-Motor with older style I and E manifolds (likely a '67 but unsure.) I also have the bell-housing for it as well as water pump, crank pulley and brackets (attached.) Bell H and flywheel has surface rust. $400 (can deliver within reasonable areas in Florida.) OEM 3 speed (with surface rust) all available for free with motor purchase.
Presumably oil-starved motor and seizure, but unsure exactly what component (maybe spun bearing? maybe worse...I have not cracked open the motor to see.) The motor has been in boxed crate for 4 yrs and has unknown mileage, but a rare F-motor that is clean (despite being seized.)

Are you willing to separate the bellhousing, and possibly flywheel? (I'm assuming you have the OEM 3-speed?)

Thanks for reply cruisermatt, I think it best to keep the original bell-house and flywheel with the motor. I do have the 3 speed, but has surface rust (as with the bell-house and flywheel, but can be sand-blasted/painted.) I forgot that I had those things you asked about too so I may edit/update my post to include those things. I can give those items (IF the motor is purchased.)

That looks like a F135 not a F155. 69 would have been a F145. That valve cover and manifolds ended with the 67 model. Believe someone was looking for a F135.

Thanks for reply living I.P. You may be right...I just know the motor is not a 2F. It has the older manifold design.
I wish I had a pic of the engine number. It's definitely late 60's. I will edit my post (unsure exactly on year of motor.)
Another pic below shows top view.

Ok, well let me know if you change your mind about the bellhousing.

Here's the carb I have available 2BBL that has probably seen better days, but has all the relevant adapter plates and hose connections. There is a raised lettering on top surface that says: "ISO 6F 14" I'm not sure what year it is and that is not the one that came with my '67 motor (title says '69) Maybe this would help though Page 042 Land Cruiser Carburetor Identifier
Hope this all helps get someone on/off the road.

Here are a few more pics :snaphappy: of the flywheel for the '67 F-motor to supplement above pics. The flywheel face will need to be milled down.

Many things there I need to bring my 67 back to original . Wish you were closer .
I already bought a 155 for the internals that was rebuilt from a guy in NM and need to get it brought to WA. Shipping quotes were ridiculous .... I may just have to drive down and back to get it and make a camping trip out of the process.

I still need the bell housing, flywheel , manifolds , carb, cleaner l etc....my 67 has a older v8 swap in it.

Hey DOM, yeah, that's the thing about rare vehicles...all spread out. Just keep looking (there may be local landcruiser association chapter nearer.) Or, you could fly down one-way then rent a vehicle and drive back up if you had to. Of course a nice trip to N.M. would be cool.
My current motor was shipped from New Hampshire to Florida and it was $600 to ship (not including motor.!!)
I think I'll need to keep the bell H. and flywheel together for this one. One thing I did with the older manifolds was to shave down/mill down the manifold (s) surface for a good flat seal-to-block and then double gasketed the manifolds on (no leaks so far.)
P.S. a few pics I took of Ocala National Forest some time ago...need to get up there again soon.

Thanks for the reply! Cool pics too! I’m all about the subtle differences and looks of the older 40’s . im trying to get mine back on the road with the original patina , I’ll upgrade the brakes and suspension , but keeping that worn patina look to her.

I love and respect a perfect restored vehicle also, but I still wanna drive mine and enjoy it without worrying about scratches etc.

Take care and good luck!

@screw aerodynamics any chance you still have any of this? I would some parts of that engine for a project I'm doing
