For Sale 68 camaro sale or possible trade

I really did not want to list this vehicle here, but craigslist leaves me no choice. They keep flagging it for some reason.

History of the vehicle as i know it.

I bought the vehicle in San diego one month ago from the second owner who had it for 3 months. It sat in the front of his house under a car cover. The original owner was a really old man who kept the vehicle running as it was his only car the entire time he owned it, apart from his wifes car. The motor was recently rebuilt and runs fantastic, and i drove it 350 miles north where it currently sits. It had no issues, and cruised nicely at 85. The unfortunate thing is the vehicle has a salvage title, due to a slight fender bender, back in 05.It was only 500 dollars woth of damage, and the old man got the idea they were trying to take advantage of him, as the adjuster and shop owner got really upset when he bought it back.
I searched the entire country before i bought this one, and it truly was the best deal out there. I paid $6100 and another 500 to get it home. My uncle gave me 6k for it, as it was not the right time for me to purchase a project, and now he wants to sell it for the same.

The car runs great, recently rebuilt motor, very nice interior, original paint, 3sp, needs some minor rust repair done, newish tires.

I sold my brown fj60, so i could give my uncle his money back. I would love to trade for a 60/62 that is worth about 3k and 3k cash.

Was the RS striping added? I notice it's only a 6-cylinder car. This looks to be a good deal; first gen Camaros go for a mint, and it looks pretty solid.

Hey thanks. The stripe is original, original owner ordered it that way. It also has RS chrome package he ordered with the car. To make it even more odd it also has a very rare bench bucket seat. The paint is rough, but it gets a ton of lookers/gawkers. It is a very solid car, and a good honest price too. I really dont understand why it has not sold yet
