Got this just a little while back cause I really like 40's but now my 4runner needs tires and I've realized that I can only afford one project right now.

Body tub & fenders in very good condition. Paint is even decent with a few chips, but still very serviceable. I was told by the PO that the roll cage and the roof are from a different year. They are just sitting there and aren't bolted down at all. The top sides are in fair shape while the roof section itself looks poor (fiberglass is warped).
Chevy 350 carbed / SM465 / NP205 drivetrain. Runs good. 32x11.50x15 tires. Spring under, unknown springs or lift.
Stock Cruiser axles. No idea on gears or lockers, but I assume stock/none.

The 4 wheel drum brakes are in bad shape. I installed a new master cyl, but have since found at least 3 wheel cylinders with stuck pistons. It currently will run & drive for about 15-20minutes (good enough for a test drive) but then the brakes start sticking/dragging. I intend to keep working on getting it fixed but if I can find anybody interested in it as is, I'd be happy to let it go. If I were keeping it I'd do a full disk upgrade but since I'm not I'm only going to try to get it functional.

This is a nice, clean Cruiser that just needs a little work to be a nice daily or light trail rig.

Currently located in Riverside, SoCal.

Asking $4500 OBO

I replaced the rear wheel cylinders. The brakes work now but, no more sticking, butl a little squishy. Probably just needs some more adjusting. I'll try to get this done.
$4000 OBO

Did I mention no rust?

What are you looking for in a trade? Daily driver, another 4x4, muscle car, bike, etc.?

I'd consider pretty much anything. I like muscle cars/kustoms/samurai's/Toyota's. Also have a step daughter turning 17 in a couple of months so looking for something for her to drive.

I'd trade for something I wasn't interested in keeping if I thought that it was more marketable for me to sell. Ultimately I could use the cash anyway you slice it.

Just to be fair, I'm not trying to hide anything. Someone from Pirate came and checked it out. The battery was dead and during the test drive a wire shorted out on the header causing a bit of trouble. The wiring harness is pretty well hacked up and should be replaced, but it is still running & driving.
