What are the options for the years and models I can get the original style doors and hood? I have doors without the wing window from a late model FJ and I am not exactly sure about the hood, but I think it's also from a late model...Thanks again everyone!!

doors (wings) and hood (split w/ metal strip) are easy.... 1960-1974ish i think? made out of heavier guage steel. you can get all 3 in excellent condition around 3 or 4 hundred.

oh yeah... fj40 or fj45 will work. good luck!

There were two style of doors with the vent window. The bug catcher vent ended sometime during 65. There is a good chance a SWB may have had these style. If it was a very early 45 it may even have the doors with out the window cranks. The earlier windshield with the bug catcher vent is a little bit wider at the top. The two piece hood ended with the 72 models.

Still a few of those doors and hoods kicking around Burbank.

If it's too far to drive, tell your dad to drop by! It'll be good to see him after all these years.:)

Nice, sounds like they shouldn't be too hard to source. Thanks for the input, I'll keep an eye for FJ40 parts as well.

That's good to know. I imagine that I would need the early model 40 parts. We will see what comes up soon!! Thanks again!
