60 vs. 80 axels and drive line mods

Right, the plan now is a 5.3 vortec, 4l60e, dana 300 with a 4:1, and a dana 44 rear from a scout (I think that they will measure up right) with upgraded shafts, and the stock 60 axel in the front with longs. I do not plan on being as abusive to my rig as the video showed, my pockets are not that deep. I plan on doing this on as small a budget as I can. Beg, borrow, and steel.

What is the WMS to WMS of the stock axel?

Please use something other than a D44. even with upgraded shafts, that will be a downgrade for you.

Do a mini/LC hybrid like Woody did.
Or just use a mini rear end.

It would appear that fzj 80 axels are not only about the same width, they are full float, and disk breaks. If a am correct. I think that these will be the best option.

Also what can be done about break performance? Diffrent master cylender, bigger vacume booster? years? ect?
