Does anyone know of a 6 speed or wider ratio 5 speed that can be mated to the HD-T and HF2A besides the H151F? (deeper 1st would be nice but especially would like a taller OD)

Looking for a 6 speed that is stronger than the ones used in Jeeps and Tacos and lighter than the ones in 3/4 trucks (110kg/240lbs).

Has anyone looked at Dyna and Hino transmissions like MYY6S, H261 (6 speeds), M153, M550 (5 speeds)? Does anyone have dimensions and specifications on any of this transmissions? What about Aisin AH15, AH16?

I have heard of H55 being mated to the HD-T, can it also be mated to the HF2A? Does it hold up to the HD-T? How does it shift?

Cheers

Interesting idea transplanting a Hino gearbox into a Cruiser. We own a 94 Hino HD truck with 6 speed. Very notchy box, would not think it would be suitable for a road going 4x4. What would be your intended use. May be able to help out by taking photos of gearbox for you.

bump. that would be nice.

you can use the 31111-60230 bellhousing to run a H55F with an 1HD-T the lower 1st ( that you will love ) maybe can meet your requirements .. but will miss the taller OD ..

the H55F it's a great tranny 2 finger shifting ..

Edit: if you have a doubler a overdrive Marks gear on the t-case would help .. but an expensive solution anycase.
