Searching hasn’t given me 100% confidence here, so I’m looking for some clarity on updating the front suspension of my 07’ GX. I’m looking to keep it at stock height-for reference, and the rear suspension is going to be a Stage 3 Metal Tech conversion kit (either with their aftermarket springs, or OEM if I find a takeoff kit including them). There are a decent amount of newer 5th-Gen Runner suspension takeoffs on marketplace and eBay, so it’s tempting to get everything with upper control arms for $500 in nearly new condition.
I read about an adapter kit for the 12/14mm lower strut bolts-does someone have a link for that?
Also-I’m aware that the width that the lower connection point of the strut is wider than the GX mounting bracket-so the metal center bushing on the strut would need to be ground down to fit inside the mounting bracket.
Beyond that-the upper control arms are interchangeable-correct?
Anything else for the front struts/springs/control arms from a 5th-Gen Runner going into an 07’ GX?
