Cool, but please bring a CB (that works) also. Just can't reiterate enough that CB will be the comm medium that everyone will be able to use. It's not that fun only being able to chat with 2-3 other people. Thanks!!!

X2!

A working CB is mandatory for this event. ESPECIALLY for Black Bear Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch. You will need to show that you have a working one prior to starting the trail. The trail leader needs to be able to communicate with the group.

Not to worry, I'll have a CB. I just want to pick up some radio knowledge from those who have been Hamming for a while.

For any of you who have either contacted us directly to get some extra shirts or added additional shirts to your registration, PayPal invoices have been sent. They were sent to the email address that your registration payment (through PayPal) came from. Thanks again!! Still not too late to add on shirts, as well!!

Thanks!

Here are some loose ends we need to tie up.

-If you are registered, expect an email within the next two weeks from us with another registration form. This one will ask for passenger names (everyone including kids will be getting something at the event). This email will also have a trail request form. There will be at least 3 trails offered per day, possibly 4. We're still working on who will be the guest spotter on Poughkeepsie Gulch this year.

-Our waitlist is pretty long and we are doing our best to get everyone in. The deadline for registration refunds is JUNE 30th. If you are on the waitlist, expect to get a confirmation no later than July 1st. There is a VERY good chance you will be added to this years event.

-Don't forget about the Pot Luck and Beers around the Country on Friday Night. Bring a local dish and a local ale to share with the group. The food on Friday night will blow you away. If you go to sleep hungry on Friday night, you've done something wrong. Maybe we'll start doing a Mountain Chef contest or something? (I volunteer to be a judge ;) )

-The last day to order shirts will be posted next week, but expect a few more weeks to get your orders in. Don't forget that we have kids shirts too. We are also working on having hoodies available this year. (Perfect for when the sun goes down in the high country)

-Please support our sponsors of this event. If you order something from them, please thank them for being involved and let them know you're registered for the event. That's what keeps the wheels turning.

Just got my registration all handled and solved today! Thanks a million for allowing me to attend! On top of the SoDak beer being brought, I plan to supply something special that goes hand In hand with good beer!

@bluecruiser thanks dude! Should be an awesome time. I am primarily a car guy, but when I saw this and had recently purchased my cruiser, I had to go. I am a huge ski'er so it should be pretty awesome to see the mountains without snow. My hill experience is very limited, but I am willing to try anything twice, which leads me to my first question; my crusher is on "35's," and it says sliders and 33's are recommended, should I be fine without sliders since I am a bit taller? OH, and lastly, thank you for the perfect excuse to finally buy a Yeti 110 cooler to go with my colster and tarpon lol.

@bkmc24 you will be fine without sliders. If you're doing Poughkeepsie, there is a chance you could tap a rocker panel, but even that can probably be avoided. We could even winch you up the wall if need be. Every other trail is easily doable on 35's without sliders.

We can get you through without sliders. Even Poughkeepsie, in my opinion. Check out the plug in type fridges, if you are looking to get a Yeti 110. Not that much more expensive!!

Sick. Let's just hope I don't grenade a diff then! And even then, I may try and swing an ARB for the front before hand just to be sure!
I'll check out the fridges. I just have always wanted a yeti and it probably would do more for me than having the fridge since I can also toss it in my race car or one of my two civic wagons on a road trip to a car show, but i'll still peep the fridges.

I will have the new Ironman Dual Zone fridge (just arriving in US) for this event and everyone is welcome to check it out. I have been using the ARB 47qt for about 4 years now. No real complaints, but I found it hard to keep ice cream sandwiches frozen at the bottom with food stacked on top of it. The food froze solid and the ice cream melted. I also hate the ARB hella socket that comes with the wiring loom. I'm looking forward to trying the Ironman version.

Speaking of Ironman, we will be debuting the brand spanking new Ironman Foam Cell Pro shocks for the 100 Series at this event. They are just arriving from OZ right now. I don't believe there is a US 100 even running them yet.

Every fridge, every shock, every bumper, every roof rack...... all in one place and all on the same vehicle. How awesome is that? Thanks to everyone for registering. It's the folks that attend that make this event what it is.

Civic wagons and race-cars you say?!? You and I will have a bit of chatting to do around the fire sir! Also a car guy here, but recently just got into the cruiser game. This seemed like an amazing opportunity so I had to jump at the chance. You and I will be in the same boat experience/hilly trail wise (although I do have sliders ;)). I was looking at the Yeti coolers also, but couldn't justify the price so I picked up an Ironman 50L which was delivered Saturday. Quality looks really good for the price, and I am just excited not to have to find ice around the race track ever again! Just a heads up, I own two EF civic hatches. Both are b16 swapped LeMons/Chump cars. Pics attached for good measure. :steer:

Paflyter, really interested in seeing how those shocks perform. Been looking for some replacements.

That is too awesome! Currently, I have a gutted 92 CX hatch that is H2B swapped that is waiting for my ECU and RD1 back from Neptune to be driven finally, a 91 RT4WD Civic wagon with a DOHC ZC swapped in (blown sadly), I fly out to Portland on Wednesday to scoop a 91 2WD Civic wagon to put a B16 swap I have sitting around into, as well as a stock ruckus and the crusher. My wife even has a pink and white metropolitan so we can scoot together around town haha.

I have done some wheeling before, but the majority of it was mud and pits and some trails, but nothing to this extent. The Black Hills Cruiser Classic is in the middle of July that I may attend to get some more time behind the wheel before HIH.

The Yeti is very very expensive, but my dad has a few for when we do KCBS competitions for fun, and they're too awesome. Keep ice for days in hot humid weather and the size is perfect for just about everything.

Which one of our vendors can I get a roof mounted cargo carrier? I have one for the wife's xterra but it isn't small or streamlined at all and wouldn't mind getting one for myself if I can snag one from a vendor.

Hopefully I'll have some in hand. I run ICON Stage 3 shocks so these wont be on my truck, but we should have them on @ENGINE er 's 100 and I'm sure he'll let you check them out behind the wheel or from the passenger seat.

Ok guys I need some help here. I'm located down in Pueblo West, CO. I have zero skills for installing anything electrical. I was wondering if someone could help me install a CB radio prior to the event.

And if anyone knows how to make the rear outlet constantly hot I'd appreciate help with that too. I have an ARB 50Q fridge and it's basically a cooler without a constantly hot outlet.

Thanks guys!
