I just got 19k out of my 100-series pads but now I'm metal on metal... oops. I guess 15k is the normal interval on bone stock. We're in suburb and city so a fair amount of stop and go and I occasionally tow a 1000 lb trailer.
The shop quoted me $600 for pads and rotors. They also said that they may find that the calipers have over extended since the pads are gone and they may have to replace them if a seal's blown or they can't compress them back in. It'll be half that if I bring in my own parts.
I just ordered ceramic 100-series pads and rotors at the parts shop for $150. Not OEM but I need them asap.
