55 bottom dash pad really nice $45

Question: is the bottom pad the same for all the years or is like the top pad?

According to SOR, it's the same for all years. Ron, if you need this, knock yourself out.

After a few email exchanges, it'd be cheaper for me to buy SORs repro glove box door and late repro dash pad, then have this part made to match, opposed to refinishing what I have on the '76.

If you don't need, I'll still take it. Can use to reproduce from, then on '72.

No Chris, I didn't mean to imply I was using padding. Good, bad or otherwise the dash will be metal.


I just like to learn this stuff, never know one day I might build a stocker. It would be great if somebody were to reproduce all the pads.

That's what I was looking at doing, too, Ron. Lack the abilities to make it happen.

According to all I've found, the lower dash pad and the glovebox door are the same from beginning to end.

Lower pad sold

The lower pad is sold and will be on its way today to Chris. I actually have two more that I will list later this week, neither of which is quite as nice as the one in this post. Thanks, Gary
