Anyone have one of these around Omaha or know where I can pick one up locally?

I was rotating my tires last night and noticed that my bearings have some play so I want to open up the hubs to make sure all is well and re-set the preload. I've done this on my Mustang a few times before but never on the LX...I'll have to read about the different methods....

The sockets are cheap to order, I just would like to get this done ASAP and not wait for shipping. There was a fair amount of play, makes me a little nervous to drive the truck very much.

Anyway, if you have one that I can borrow I would appreciate it greatly. I will be more than happy to stock you up on your beverage of choice.

Thanks, fellas!

I redid the brakes on mine a few weeks ago. I used the large hub socket from my old CJ7 on the FJ. Seemed to fit fine. I was at Autozone and noticed they had a decent selection of hub sockets, some for Dana 44's which is what I had in my CJ. Might be worth stopping by to check out. You can certainly borrow mine too.

Thanks, man! I'll check there.

Hey Grench, thanks for the offer and the PM. It turns out that the :princess: had to travel for a couple days so I can just use her car if I need to go more than a few miles from home. I ordered a hub socket from CruiserParts.net on Friday since they're only $15. For now I'll just plan on waiting it out until the socket arrives... We'll see how fast they ship it--I've heard some mixed reviews... If it still hasn't arrived by the end of the week I may have to take you up on your offer, Grench.

Thanks again!
