Up for sale is a 1952 Flxible Visicoach Bus Motor Home conversion with an International DT-466 turbo diesel engine and Allison six speed automatic transmission. (More information on Flxible here: Flxible - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) Chassis shows 266,156 miles but all of the mechanicals have 20,000 miles or less on them. This bus was converted from a Buick 8 gasoline engine to a rebuilt International DT-466 Turbo Diesel with a little over 10 thousand miles on the rebuild and the cost of the rebuild was $10,000. Along with this conversion was the installation of the Allison
Transmission and lower geared rear axles with larger than stock brakes. This big blue bus has air brakes, power steering and like new 10/22.5 tires on Aluminum wheels. Some of the amenities include a dinette that makes into bed, two burner propane stove (No oven), propane hot water heater, Norcold 2 way fridge/freezer, Microwave, large bathroom and shower. In the rear of the bus are Twin beds and plenty of storage. This bus features a 30 Gallon fresh water tank, city water hook up, 40 gallon black holding tank, 40 gallon gray holding tank, propane tank and two 40 gallon diesel tanks that can be filled from either side of the bus. For your comfort there are 2 air conditioners, one with heat strip and a 36K btu forced air propane furnace. Most recent updates include a new
8000KW diesel generator to replace the 3500kw propane generator, new radiator with addition of a second radiator to keep things running cool, upgraded from 30 amp to 50 amp service with a marine grade plug and four brand new 6 volt deep cell house batteries.
