Tires are worth the price!

Worth it.

SOa housings (assuming are done the "right way" as he states)
Shackle Reversal
Long Travel Billies
Most of a high steer kit
Disk Brake front end

Fuelie 2F

Not a bad start for a trail rig.

Lose the headlights.

Kina built a similar one on a fj60 platform. that thing went everywhere. it still had most of the front body panels intact. this is a nice start on a buggy the 3fe set up right is a real nice driveline you don't have the carb issues with the off camber/steep stuff.

You could make that into a decent rig with a little work. It has plenty of good parts on it.

I'm with Rick on this one. Yes you could probably get it and use it for parts but there are much better parts trucks out there for the money. "Some of a hysteer" So what exactly is missing? Looks like the pitman arm is missing is it missing more? It has no locking hubs and no diffs. So for the money you would spend to replace those parts you would be better off buying at whole axle. Shocks are a wearable item and you don't know how this thing was abused. Looks like it was beat like a red headded step-child. I would rather buy a complete 60 for the same money and part out the stuff that I don't need.

Just my .02 cents. I have parted out an FJ60 which was missing the front axle for $200. I got my money back and some spare parts but it wasn't really worth the effort.

I hate to admit it but I am with the dingus above me.
for 500 bucks? it dosnt look that bad in the pictures, now if the welds look like snot then no its not worth it. And youll probly be able to pick it up with a trailer for 300 cash and an offer to get it outa the guys garage.

If its a solid foundation I would say strip all the junk off it, paint it and bolt useful junk back on there, wheel the piss outa it!

just looked like a neat tube buggy that could be wheelable for not that much money and effort.

Nat, that's got you written all over it!

this was phil davis' buggy
it only had a few short runs, but they never ended well, he is not gentle
last I knew it only needed a complete rear axle and a birfield,
this after a day on whittier last year, it was fun driving all thee way down the mountain with franky's front left just next to his right rear tire
every time the axle walked out, I would just steer into him and smash it back in:hillbilly:

looks like the pigs are gone and maybe the steering box
nice cage tho, good cheap buggy

He originally wanted $900, so he may be at his bottom price.

Hi guys, new here. This is my rig for sale. I bought it about a month ago for parts for a friend. He changed his mind. This was my first listing of it. Was never posted for $900. I didn't build any of it so I don't know the history of it.

It is missing the 3rds. The steering box is there, but not attached. I'm gonna send it to the scrap yard soon as I don't want to deal with parting it out and all that hassle. I figured someone could make use of some of the parts. Maybe not??

Tim

don't scrap it...someone will find a home for it.

x2 dont scrap it.
