5 on 150 ?? Set me Straight

Therefore, the radius from the center of the axle to the outer edge of a stud is 75 mm (half the diameter), and the 5 studs are placed equal distances from each other along that radius/circle.

no, the distance from the center of the axle to the *center* of a stud is 75mm....

btw, I didn't feel like doing the math so I went out and measured and the distance between "opposing" stud centers was about 142mm so you see that adding 1/2 the thickness of a stud (7mm or so) would be very close to 150mm...

Finding hubs for your trailer that are 5 on 150 will be nearly impossible.

Do what I did, order spacers from wheeladapter.com and convert your current bolt pattern to the ones you want.

See, my trailer is 5 on 112 and the TLC wheel I have is 5 on 150. I had a 2.5" wide adapter made to use my factory Landcruiser wheels.

Diameter = circumference divided by 2 pi

yes i thought so .... those will look good on my trailer
Thanks alot everyone
that would be 2 x pi x r = circumference
so D= circumference / pi
D = 2r
i am an engineer for a living hah!

wngrog - sick trailer. Thanks guys for helping me and the rest of us figure out how to measure the BP....i thought was off somewhere, thanks.

Hey wngrog, how is the 2.5" wheel adapter working out for you? Would you recommend that width or?? Good meeting you at SNT :cheers:

Landtech, that trailer is looking real nice!!

Off topic, sorry, but the spacers are nice. I could have easily gotten away with 1.5" with the tires/wheels I am running and would have cut down on the amount the tires stick out of the fenders.
