***SOLD***
I put in the description the trailer is a 4x6' but it is actually a 4x5' trailer, sorry about that.
Ok so I'm selling a Police Radar Trailer that I bought at a local auction for the solar power system that is installed on it. The trailer itself is actually very cool and I would keep it for an expedition trailer but I'm already mid way in my own build of one.
From what I can tell the frame work is steel and the rest is aluminum (sides, fenders, door, etc.) and the main deminsions are 4' wide, 5' long and 3'-3" tall. It has one door on the side that is 2' wide by 2'-6" tall with a locking latch and weather stripping inside.
The tongue has a 2" receiver tube so you can pick your choice of ways to tow it. The actual trailer is the only thing for sale. It does not come with any of the radar or solar power equipment, just the empty trailer is for sale. It has a Dexter torsion axle rated at #1500.
There isn't a back door but one could be added very easily and there is a grated area on the floor inside the trailer intended for ventilation, but this could be sealed up pretty easily. It would take very little work and this would be an awesome camping/expedition trailer!
It comes with a receiver hook-up for a 2" ball, key for the wheel locks, a trailer plug extension and keys for locks and the door. It also has a bar that goes through both rims that can be locked to help prevent theft and the bar is stored under the trailer when not in use. It has leveling jacks underneath the trailer. The ID plate says the trailer was built in 6/00.
I'm only asking for $600 for a quick sale! I would prefer local pick-up, but I am willing to ship on the buyers dime. I also attached a pic with the trailer attached to my 4Runner for reference.
If you need better pics or have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking!
