It come out of a towace van ( i didnt it off my self , i was told)

I thought about posting it there, i might .
I'll like to see what people think about that engine .

Hiace 4wd models are pretty common over here. I would say every 4 out of 5 are. Early ones had low range and part time just like the hilux and light duty land cruisers of the time.
Most had the 2L or 2L-t turbo engine. Later models had the 2KD-FTV engines.
Now we don't get Hiaces in Europe any longer as it has to much CO2 emissions :(
Now Toyota sells a rebagded PSA as there cargo/van vehicle :/

The 2c diesel engine is a great little diesel. My dd corolla has one and I get great fuel economy from it, even when I have some fun and belch out some black smoke. They are easy enough to work on and ive never had any trouble with mine. The only thing I had to get use to driving mine was the fact it revs much higher than the old 2h in my cruiser. Redline in the cruiser is 4100rpm (although never taken over about 3000rpm) while the corolla can rev out to 5200rpm and quickly gets to 4000rpm before you know it!
The 2c is the 2.0ltr version of the family. There is the 1.8ltr (1C) version and the 2.2 (3C). All of these IDI diesel had turbo and non turbo versions. The later 2C and 3C versions had electronic injection pumps I would say much like the 2L-T. And it was never in the scat 4wd.
