I was over at our place in Redington Beach, Florida and going to Clearwater for dinner and saw this gem in the Indian Rocks area. I figured the owner was around here somewhere...never seen one of these in person before, and the others with me werent too fond of me delaying dinner for this picture

who ever this belongs too...great looking rig

wy gone bad

Yep, the rig is now a flatlander. Still am tinkering on a few things. Had visions of a trip to Denali until I took this business opportunity in Fl.

I will attach a couple more pics.

Chevy ...383 Stroker.
700R4 trans
OME springs/shocks/shackles
HFS bumper w/Warn 8274
Tilt steering
fj60 axles with front discs
Body was dipped in acid,so all new wiring gauges, steering etc.
Working on install of Vintage air now.

Plenty of tinkering left to do!

Love it, very similar to my build less the V8. What tilt colimn did you install?

Rust

Exactly. Already seeing the red dust in places that have been pristine for 6 years while in Utah. Already mapping a plan to get ahead of some of this. My frame was already painted and the body had been taken off the frame and dipped in acid. Fortunately, I coated the whole underside while it was off.

Bumper

My rust prevention project for today;
When I built the truck, I fabricated a bumper using the plans from Matt's builds...had the steel rolled instead of using C channel and it looks perfectly stock. Except for addition of receiver hitch and backup lights.
Well, I had it painted with two stage and that looks perfect on the outside. The inside was only hit with primer, so it was starting to turn red...no real rust yet. I hit it with my mini-grinder sanding disk and then two coats of gemplers rust converter. Next was several coats of the Duplicolor bedliner. I really like the texture that the duplicolr lays down....not rubbery or a blobby looking spray either.

Also managed to run out of gas in the "new to me" boat I bought recently. You would think that a 90 gal tank that shows 1/2 full would have some gas in it. Oh well, I am lucky that is the only thing. It runs like a top otherwise.

Anyone know of a running Lv project available in Fl? Oh no, did I say that out loud. Can't help myself. Please don't tell me if there is one. :bang: I need to enjoy the toys I have now...ok, just send pictures. Toyo-porn.
