Good evening, I will be swapping out my A340 transmission that has 426k miles on the odometer but likely more (no speedo correction for a while, then the Superlift Correction device died after 10 years......). This is straightforward and the transmission will come from CamelBack Toyota in AZ.

The question I has is what the heck do I do with the Transfer Case? New seals, new gears, new bearings, or just pull the trigger on a low mileage unit off eBay and pray for the best?

I drive a 2002 4Runner 4WD automatic transmission, LSD rear, manual hub locked front, 4.88’s, on 34x11.50’s.

Thank you

I'd rebuild what you have first.
