Thats all of about 5 minutes as most from me. I live off Newport near the St. Threasa's. What did you guys thing of the house?

Ok, I kind of know the area.

The house was nice. A little on the small side for us, but it would be OUR house and not an apartment. We put in an offer I thought was fair (needed the roof replaced) but they didn't agree to it. It's a buyers market at this point. We'll find something.

I almost have my bumper finished. Pretty much built it yesterday. This was my first fab project. I did the welding myself with the exception of the d-ring mounts. Figured I didn't want to chance safety. I ended up using 1/4" wall tubing. Its actually not much heavier than the bumper that was on it.

Useless without pics!!!

I plan on getting them tonight when I finish welding and grinding. I should have taken pics along the way but I am never good at that.

Finally some pictures

Jason, I like it...Nice work.

Looks Great! Looking to build something similar to this. As soon as the new body panels are finished.

Thanks Sam. I have been using 6013 rod for most of it but ran out and started using 6011 and the welds were not as nice. I am planning on picking up some more 6013 and redoing a couple of spots. I was want to finish it tonight and start mounting the winch plate but it looks like it will have to wait until tomorrow as I have stuff to do around the house.

Thanks. I think its worth doing. Figure that I have under $100 into it. $25 steel, $32 d-ring mounts, $22 d-rings and $20 paint, grinding wheels, welding rod, ect.

I know we are taking front bumpers, but I just added this...I need to add some grip tape so the kiddies won't slip climbing in and out.

Ohh...and don't worry, I have since added the remaining bolts, too.
