Took a quick look around but didn't find anything new on why it has been stopped or if they are back in stock or what if anything needs to be corrected on existing installs.

I dunno about it either but i would really like to know about it. I want to put one on my dads LX470 but i dont want to put one on if its
going to casue future problems.

I have not seen any information regarding them being "turned back on" (a car talk thing indicating a re-release of something ).

I do know that the original bulletin was very specific in stating that there was nothing wrong with units already shipped and they did not ask dealers to stop sales and return units in stock.

Thanks Dan. My mother and father have returned home from the winter in Florida thing and I didn't want to mention anything while they were down there as they tow a 5th wheel with his SC Tundra.

I'm pretty sure they've only stopped shipping the units for the V8's. You can still get the IL6 versions.
