My 2001 tundra just started running ruff around low rpm and vibrates ALot while driving and rolling slow almost feels like drive shaft is unbalanced,(lowerish rpm between 900-2500rpm) but still has regular power and doesnt have any issues at a greater rpm.
The check engine light turns on solid for a while then starts to blink alot then some times goes away, rapidly?? Im going to buy an obd2 reader, Any one have this problem or suggestions ?

CEL blinking indicates a misfire, the rough running confirms that. You just need to get that code reader to find out which cylinder has the problem. The trouble codes for misfires coincide with the cylinder number, P0301, P0302, P0303, etc.

If you get a scan tool that can read the data stream, you can also view the misfire counts when the engine is idling. Observe which cylinder is misfiring, then swap the ignition coil from that cylinder to the one next to it and recheck. If the coil is faulty the misfire will "follow" it to the other cylinder. The coils are the most common cause of misfire with those engines.

There is also a lot of information in the 100-series section, since they share the 4.7L.

The obd2 scan told me P0307 misfire, coils ordered on its way thanks again

my #7 coil blew again whats going on here?? could it be crapy spark plugs over working them ??

The coil is the most common cause of a misfire, but not the only cause. The way to verify this is to do what I talked about before, with swapping coils between cylinders to see if the misfire follows the coil.

Other questions: Are you using anything other than NGK or Nippondenso for spark plugs? Was it an OEM coil that you used?
If you're not using OEM, the quality will likely not be the same.

I switch the #7 to the number #5 and it followed to the #5 so i put the new coil in the #5 and the #7 had the old coil from #5 which blew again.
I dont exactly have the money to replace all of them at this exact time being laid off and all so im just replacing the #7 with a fresh coil and replacing all the spark plugs.

There Denso plugs and who knows how many km's they dont look bad but their probley due why is the 7 harder on coils than the rest? just the s***test plug of the bunch i hope, or could it be leading to a bigger problem?
