I know nearly nothing on 4Skinner's other than my little brother's 1985 from years ago. 3rd gen was 1997-2003?

Anyway, what is considered the most common/best aftermarket lift (~3"+) for these years?

I think it was 96-2002? But I think you start getting into CV issues at 3" with the 3rd gen.

People have chatted up using Tundra coils for a cheap, good lift and OME I think. There are a ton of threads on 3rd gen lifts at yotatech.com if you want to do a ton of good reading on many if not all the options available.

I know one guy is running Donahoe 2.5 coilovers w/ Camburg uca's and likes it.

Most of us are running OME 891 coils in the back for 2.5-3" of lift. For the front, it varies. I've got SAW adjustable coilovers, but alot of folks are flocking to the Tundra coils now as the latest and greatest.

OME all the way around...... get some 1.5" spacers if you have a beefy bumper and winch

33's maybe 35's if you dont have a limited. also remove the pinch weld

get cv's from advanced auto...... lifetime warranty
