Hi, vehicle as per username, a 92 Landcruiser (Prado?) LJ79 with a 3L engine. Around 1300rpm, on load in a high gear (generally most noticeable on 4th gear going uphill) the power delivery is jerky, what could be best described as hum, hum, hum, hum, like I was playing around with the throttle on and off.

It's not THAT bad, but noticeable and annoying. I can drive through this, by 1-6 it's gone, or drop a gear and its over very quickly/unnoticeable.

Any ideas? I got asked about the fuel filter, well its just been replaced so that is out, I guess its a bit more than that.

Thanks!

This should really be in the diesel forum;)
Im thinking your revs are too low but maybe your pump needs looking at too, possibly the fuel govenor.
1-6 = 1600 rpm?
Whats your location?
