It works fine in a FJ62, I have no idea on a FJ60 though. Wiring would be the worst part of that swap.

I am currently adding my 3fe to my FJ-60 and it isn't really that bad. You have to make a hole in the firewall to route the ECU wires (EFI harness), add the throttle cable, I also installed the FJ-62 dash wireing harness (that includes emmisions and headlights) . I have pulled the gas tank, fuel lines, and gas pedal from an FJ-62. Jim Goodwin did a thorough write-up on this. Good luck!
