Went to the dealership to replace a few heater hoses and ran into a snag. The two hoses (5/8") coming from the thermostat housing to the pipes that run along side the engine only come as an assembly with the pipes to the tune of $180. Anyone found a source for these. The local part stores were unable to get any of these.

slambson,
Mine leaked as well and I used standard size hose (forget what size I used a caliper and then went to the parts store. has worked well for me for 1.5 yrs..... I would recommend getting some constant tension clamps for it though.

PHAEDRUS,
Did you check out SOR.com. Maybe they have a used one for the 3FE.

If you have a need to change out the coolant pipes that run along the engine, are you checking out the rest of the coolant system. Let's hope you don't have a problem like I did, chnage out the heater core.

Pics attached.

Yep, changing them all out as I had a leak.

I was fairly successful in finding and replacing most with ready fit ones. Those two I have some standard 5/8" Gates super hose on for now but would prefer the prefabed variety for fitment.

I forget the trick but yes you can get the hoses by themselfs from the dealer. I know it took Al a bit of work to figure it out.
