So I was driving home tonight on the freeway and noticed an odd orange glow on the steering wheel. When I moved my arm out of the way to see what it was, and the check engine light was on. No noticeable running issues at speed or thru town. It stayed on all the way home, I shut if off, gave it a 10 count, started it back up with no problem, and the light was out. So- fluke? It has about 118k on the clock. Is there something common on these particular engines that I should start thinking about? Or is it a crap shoot, and assuming the problem persists, am I going to have to try and read codes?
