It would also be sweet to have a RAM mount for the FJ80 ash trays. I don’t know why that one is always over looked. It’s super useless cause you can’t even mount a radio in there like the FZJs

The ashtray replacement I have can mount a RAM ball (has two 1/4" bolt holes). However, It might need some re-work for strength as I didnt plan on it for this use. I have not tried it though, as the cupholder/blank is where I have mine. Will look into it.

So you have a ashtray replacement for the early style 91-93 dash? The ashtrays are different sizes between the older and newer dash styles. The older style dashes don’t have a cup holder tray.

No worries. I know everything Cruiser is a boutique market, and even smaller with 80s, but you would be the only person to have product for that useless ashtray for the early dash. I would love to see that. It an Untapped market in my opinion, for what is worth.

Update: Damn this hole design is crappy! lol. Right now I have not figured out a way to make it work and look reasonable at the same time. The blank is the same width as the normal switch size, and about 4 mil deeper at the tab point... about 1 mil deeper bottom lip.. and the rake along with the width makes an ugly edge. Still trying, but not hopeful at this point.
