Hello all
I have a problem with air getting in and not being able to draw fuel into the pump then filter and out.
I have replaced the pump and pump stay (mount) rubber fuel line.
I have the rubber fuel line coming off the injection pump inlet and into a bottle of diesel.
The next thing to check is the fuel return line and have pulled the lower bolt that is also the bolt that holds the edic motor.
The line seems to have another bolt !
I'm hoping its not the same bolt for the air intake manifold.
The metal fuel line runs behind the injection pump and behind edic motor up to the injector nearest fire wall.
The Question : how do I remove this line ?
do I need to remove the injection pump ?
I cannot see anything in the Toyota manual regarding this fuel line removal.
Thanks

the line is s***ty to get at, just get some 3/16 hose and cut the return off the pump leaving enough to attach your hose to
bypass the metal line and attach too your injector return
I had the metal line rust through on a couple cruisers

Thanks Vinny
Update :
I had a spare inlet connected the hose to the overflow by-pass and found the problem.
The truck now is getting fuel and ran.
Then connected the fuel feed hose from the bottle to the metal fuel line mounted on the fender (running to tank ) and no luck ~!
It seems I have two problems at once.
The next step is running a new fuel line to the gas tank and pulling the gas tank to access the inlet to replace.
