Like it says A/C compressor mount and crank pulley for the 3B engine. I already have the idler. If I can't find this reasonably I'll have it made up. I have one to copy but another would save the trouble of creating it.

Mel, you know that an '81 3B also needs a different crank pulley to bolt on the A/C pulley? The old 3B crank pulleys will NOT accept any additional pulleys. The right crank pulley can be harder to find too since they are in demand for power steering conversions. I have the crank pulley, just not the accessory A/C pulley.

Found the rest for a VERY reasonable price.

My machinist was able to drill and tap 4 holes in my 81 pulley.

He added a 2 and 3rd pulley from a toyovan.

Fits like a glove.

Measurements

Anyone have the diameter and belt width of the crank and idler pulleys ? I'm looking to see if there is another pulley that can be used. Is there a shim between the crank pulley and a/c crank pulley ?

The A/C crank pulley is the same diameter as the main crank pulley, no shims. The A/C belt is the narrower belt similar to an "A" type industrial belt (the main belt is similar to a "B" width industrial belt.

As for the idler, you'd need the idler support and tensioner as well.

Just jumping in to express my interest in a similar project. I have a 3B in my FJ60 (nice), and would love to add the engine related parts to my existing components and have a functional A/C. Mounts for the compressor are rare, pulleys too, though I remember seeing idler pulley's for the 3B at SOR.COM, the last little bit I am after is the amplifier off a 12V 3B, as I have the F series in the cab now.

Where to get parts? What compressor will work (any FJ60 compressor)...

Any pointers would help!!
Cheers.
