Still thinning the herd...

This is a basically a 81 bj42 without a body.

The engine runs good and can be demonstrated the way it sits.

This is a 24v system. I have most of the wiring and the original gauge cluster.

I can't remember exact mileage but I believe its around220k km.
Will double check and confirm.

The oil pan is weeping b/c of rust. I'm currently trying to find another one. Looks like $150-200 for a good used one.

Willing to sell it as a rolling chassis or motor/tranny/tcase combo.

$2500 obo for the rolling chassis

$2000 obo for engine/tranny/tcase

Will get some better pictures the way the rig sits now.

I could be interested if it's still got a body on it (even if it is rusted to almost nothingness). How's the frame for rust? Title?

Interested in the Engines/Trans/TC - PM'd.

cruiser guy....There is no body left. It had a fiberglass body I removed and I have a sale pending on it. If it falls thru your welcome to the body. The frame is def. usable. It has some surface rust but all in all its a good solid frame. It has a clean NC title. Being as you can get the oil pan that I need for it I would say your ahead of the game. I will get some better pics and post them up on the web.

offroad rage...pm replied to.

I can ship the engine/tranny/tcase if need be.

For me, I need the whole thing. I needs a body of some type. I don't care if it's rusted to nothing as I have a source for those too but without a body I can't drive it anywhere.

I'd drive it to Costa Rica and put on a new body there.

diesel swap

I'm located in Greenville SC and interested in the swap.

Does everything run/function well?

i see no alt. in pics. I'm assuming it doesn't come wtih AC or any accessores or p.s.

thank you

Joshua,

There is an alternator for it. Its in a box with a bunch of other misc. electrical parts that go with the truck. It is in working condition along with the vaccum pump.

This was a good running/driving truck when parked about a year ago. I recently fired the engine up and let it run for a bit and it ran good. I didn't let it run for that long due to the oil pan weeping. I have located another oil pan for it along with a gasket set.

If you wanted to the the time...with the new pan and gasket set this engine would be easy to freshen up appearence wise.

I don't have a diesel compression tester. I may try to bribe a buddy with some beer to get some compression #'s on it.

Just to confirm...I looked at the orginal gauge cluster and it has 197xxx km on it. It is the odometer that has 6 digits so I believe that it is the original mileage b/c I know it was working.
