So I installed some 37 inch Falken wild peak allterrain tires on 17 inch fj cruiser rims and I am not thrilled with the setup. These tires are very good for most conditions with the exception being sand. I did a lot of research before hand by looking at the different southwest wheeling forums and a lot of people runs these tires in our climate. They have great sidewalls so you won't puncture or slash the tire. They clean out very well when in mud. They are superb on ice and snow. They as I said are not great in sand. I ran a trail up in cave creek yesterday that I ran with my 285s that I had struggled on before. The 37s made it so easy it was night and day.
In the end I would rather have 35s.
I am asking 1600 for the set that includes 4 tires mounted and the spare rim that does not have a tire on it. This will include the lug centric lugs that you need to run these. I am firm at my asking price as I am loosing money on this already.
