I am going to have a parking brake cable made for my 40 but I have a 350 conversion with the 700R4 connected to the orginal transfer case via the long advanced adapters adapter.

I know that BTB makes a cable but I have heard bad things about it and it is pretty pricey.

Does anyone know the length I would need for the cable with this conversion?

Also if anyone has any cool replacements for the parking brake lever/cable to replace stock, I would love to see pictures or hear about it.

You might check the FAQ section. I think there is a link for this.

just get your ends straight and they can make most custom applications:beer:

Yes I found this in the FAQ as well. I really need to know the length of cable others have used.

My other question is seeing alternatives that are cool others have used for their parking brake lever/cable

Thanks Guys!!!

Run some wire however you want to route the parking brake cable. Then take it out and measure it. Do the same for your speedo. It worked for me.
Good luck
