I'm replacing my 11 year old, cracked tires with new ones (35" BFG KM3) and I'm hoping to also replace my current 15"x8" rims with the stock/OEM rims with the old-school hub caps.

OEM Rim set - eBay

Hadn't occurred to me that a 35" tire on a 15x5.5 wide rim may not be a good idea? (FJ40 sitting on FJ60 axles, Y-link in the front)

Should I be concerned about any cons with that arrangement?

I really like the look of the old rim/hub cap look.

Stockton wheels will take your centers and weld them in the center of a new 8’ wide rim which would be much safer, then use your stock hubcaps, this is what I am running.

Very cool, I'll look into that. Thank you!
