Will 325/65/18 size tires fit on a 2017 LC lifted 2 inches with ARB front bumper and Slee rear bumper?

Currently the Cruiser has 275/70/17s with no rubbing of any kind.

The 325/65/18 tires are 1.48" taller and 1.97" wider than the 275/70/18 tires currently installed.

The tire brand I'm considering is the BFG K02.

Please advise.

Thanks!

what wheels are ya rolling and what offset are they? are ya running wheel spacers?

325/65/18 is essentially metric sizing for a 35x12.5 tire.

Yes, there are people on the boards that run this size on the 200-series. Not without mods though.

Basic fitment mods:
1) Have the right offset to clear KDSS, without being too aggressive and causing steering swing clearance issues. Something in the +30 to +40 offset wheel range would be ideal. Or a .75" to 1" spacer.
2) Will need to cut wheel liner, possibly aggressively
3) Potentially will need upper arms to center the tires in the wheel well to help clearance
4) Potentially suspension travel limit pads to limit contact on full compression. Or a mild body lift if there's clearance issues against the body.

Lift is not really necessary or the issue, as the tire still needs to clear through the full suspension stroke.

what's your suspension setup ? Are you willing to do a fair amount of fender liner trimming ?

I test fit a 325 on my truck but with my rims and the tundra front and ET 55 setup (20x9.5) I would've been 1-2 mm clear to the Icon UCA's.... I know SPC's and other offer a bit more clearance so it might be possible but it'll take alot of dialing......

Fuel D569 Vapor Wheels, 18x9, +20mm
I run the fuel 18x9 with a 20mm offset, same basic setup except I run BFG 285/70 R18's. You are gonna rub all over the place with that setup, you will have to cut a massive amount out of your fender lining(I did a lot just for my 285's) and also put in bump stops, deal with KDSS bar etc etc etc.. Most of the guys running 35x12.50's are doing so on the Rock Warrior wheels which are a 17x8 with a 50mm offset. The Rock Warrior's make it tighter on the UCA but give you better tuck and sweep with that size tire. just my 2 cents...

okay - but what's your suspension plan..... that's going to dictate if there's a hope on the 325's....I'm a 1 %'er but 325's are almsot impossible without a lot of things coming together perfectly and wilingness to cut and do other things...

to me 35x12's are about the limit.... and really match the truck once lifted and loaded with armour etc....
I tried 37's but decided that just too much for a DD....even with gears. Gears also are going to be desirable if you ever go to the hills/mtns... your tranny with be hunting once you hit elevation on 35's otherwise..

That’s great advice and precisely the reason I post questions on this forum. You guys are awesome!

All I’m looking for is a good all-around tire with as much size as I can fit without dos my all the crazy stuff... the 285/70s are .55” taller and .39” wider than what I have now... i imagine those tires will fit fine without all the “work”... I wonder if 305/65s would fit and not require all the work.

Your truck looks awesome by the way and your 285/70s don’t appear dwarfed by the truck.... that’s one of the things I want to change about mine; the truck seems to swallow the 275/70s... they are highway tires and that plays a part as well...

305/65/18s should be cake to fit. It's practically the same overall dimensions as my 305/55/20s, but 4/10" taller. Or needing only 2/10ths" more clearance all around. I fit mine with very minor fender liner tucks. No cutting. 305/65/18s should be about the same. Easy peasy.

Thanks for that info... too bad for me the 305/65s are the most expensive of the sizes discussed...
