I've been trying to figure out if one can mount 305-50R20 tires on an LX570 with OEM rims and nobody had an answer for me.

I really wanted that wide look so what is a 200 enthusiast to do? That's right: order up a set of Michelin Latitude Tour HPs in 305-50R20 and mount them up.

Happily I can report no rubbing issues at all - even in low suspension with the wheels at full lock.

Order away.

However, if you try an AT or MT tire in that size I would not be surprised to see some rubbing in low mode.

Ugh. You should have bought my 305s when you bought my wheels.
They look great.

Haven't driven on the highway yet but around town it felt a bit more cushy and smoother over bumps and cracks in the road.

Arich: I got a killer deal on eBay for the tires: $650 shipped for all 4.

That's $1200 in tires. Good deal. I'll be happy if I get $950 for the BBS wheels with those tires.

Took the new tires on the highway and around town a bit more. At slow speeds the steering feels heavier - probably the extra width. I also noticed the dealer set the air pressure at 29psi which is a bit low so I will adjust that.

Other than that the ride is a bit smoother. I definitely like the new look.
