the exterior photo's it looks like a split tailgate to me but just noticed interior pic of just the frame/etc it looks like a single door. Potentially it's an option to have split?

The GR-sport is by far the best variant. I must applaud Toyota for actually making the GR version off-road focused and not on-road like what Nissan did to the NISMO Patrol.

So, the cargo area is raised platform like in GX it seems.

So, at least in pics/videos, only the GR Sport maintains good approach angle (on par with LC200?)…the high-end version will be Lexus LX-like front clearance??

The tailgate is one of my favorite features of both my 100 and 200 series LCs. What LC other that the 40 doesn’t have a tailgate? This is really a big miss in my opinion.

High spec aus/nz cruiser with better front bumper and no low hanging running boards.

The GR version in a dark color does a nice job of muting that front end styling. And it sounds like it has some decent specs too. Too bad I’ll be ancient by the time we can import them to the USA. Thank goodness I love my 200.
