After some recent rain my LC once again is giving me some electrical gremlins..... many things are happening This time. I didn't drive it for 2 weeks and the battery died. I went to jumps start it an it shows power on the display light up when hooked up. 13.6 volts from my wife's Rx has been enough to jump it in the past. It isn't working this time. Display shows "check pcs also". Then I noticed when I close the door. The car beeps 3 times. The display shows "key not detected"( looking from the outside in) . I'm not sure why that would matter if I wasn't trying to start the car at the time or or even be inside. But it also doesn't allow me to lock the car( while getting power from the jumper cables. I have tried all 3 of my keys. I had no signs of a failing starter..... I am thinking I have some kind of short or issue with the immobilizer. But I'm not sure. I had these issues before and they just went away the day before I took it to the dealer. The dealer liked around, did a ton of test and could not find anything wrong. Any ideas / feedback. Again, there is no signs of water actually getting into the cab inside or in the fuse panel area in the engine bay. Not sure what is getting compromised with the rain. It's also worth noting, this doesn't happen with every single time it rains or car washes.

I get the 3 beeps when I leave the vehicle running and step out of range. Not able to lock with the remote is also a feature of when the car is running. Yours is obviously not running but it thinks it is for some reason. Gremlins indeed…

How do you replace those if they are corroded like that?
1. Fix leak
2. Dry out
3. Clean corrosion
4. Replace/bypass bad pins
5. Treat/protect with your favorite flavor of protectant like dielectric grease.

I'm going to take the battery to get tested today and will likely replace it anyways. I didn't realize it is already 3 years old and they just don't make them like they used to. It is a G31 AGM. I will also inspect those harness plugs closely any damage or corrosion and take it from there. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for all the feedback.
