3.4 liter V6

I need some help finding a 3.4 liter for my nephews 99 Tacoma. His just blew from a destroyed fan which caused a bad overheat situation.

Does anyone have a good motor they are wanting to part with or know of one that is available? We are in Hot Springs, AR.

www.car-part.com is pretty good. If you're in a larger urban area, you can call around local wrecking lots you might be able to find a deal.. When I rebuilt the 3.0 in my 4Runner, I was considering a 3.4 swap (and regretted not doing so). I was able to find 3.4s with less than 50k on them for $850 or so.

Another option is co-part.com Buy an auction wrecked taco/4runner and take what you need. You can buy without being a dealer in most of the auctions. I tried to buy a 4runner recently and was out-bid, but you can usually find rolled or wrecked 4runners for around $1k for the whole thing.
