2WD to 4WD Swap Question??? (1 Viewer)

If I had a 2005 Prerunner (2WD).. and found a wrecked 2005-2006 4x4... how difficult would it be to swap the parts? Also.. what if I wanted to go from 2WD to SAS in front along with a 4WD conversion... Thanks in advance

get the trans ,xfer case, drive shafts and cross member and bolt it in ... good luck

Befor you get started you might want to measure the frame width. It might not fit at all and you go through a lot of trouble just to be at ground zero.

its been done a lot with older mini trucks but ive never seen a case of someone doing it with a new one. sounds like an interesting project.

Ide say its very doable get wrenching and post pics!
