I did a search and couldn't come up with much. But I have several trucks with the 2LTE and am trying to source a good PDF file with all the specs. Specially torque settings for the head, water pump, etc. My mechanic is installing a new gasket set and water pump on my 1988 Bundera and I'd like for him to have everything he needs. Thank you in advance.

Well, first off the 1988 Bundera won't have a 2LTE. 2LTE wasn't introduced until 1989-1990 or so.

There are two fundamentally different versions of the 2LT/2LTE. The pre 1990 2LT's have a rocker head, an older turbo, different rods/crank (6 bolt) and a number of other things. The post 1990 2LT-II and 2LTE have a shim over bucket head (like 1HZ,1PZ etc.), an improved turbo, bigger rods and an 8-bolt crank. There are lots of other little differences too.

So basically there are two manuals you're going to need if you have vehicles with both generations of these engines. One manual for the earlier version and one manual for the late version. Fortunately they're both available online! When you order parts you're going to have to be careful to order for the exact motor you have. Use Megazip EPC if you're in doubt. Just look up your exact model to find the parts drawings and part numbers. It's a great resource. Toyota LAND CRUISER Car & Auto OEM Parts | 38286

Here's the manuals. These should have all the torque specs etc. that you need.
