2L-T engine choice of oil (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Do you suggest any preference between these oils for my 2L-T engine marinized. It works in the 3500RPM range for 40mins spans during the summer period. Not many hours but it is like going uphill loaded on land, so might make some difference .

15w40 for sure where you live. I really like the shell diesel oil myself. It's never let me down.

I use Rotella T6 15W40 full synthetic in a KZJ78 operating at similar temps as yours. IMO full synthetic is not as important as proper weight and comprehensive wear packages. Any oil is cheap compared to the cost of engine wear.

fellow 2LTE owner here! I also use Shell 15W40, Rotella T5 and T6 in our local market. During my Asia days, many folks swore by Rimula R4X, exactly what you pictured!
