I'm selling my 2H diesel motor with an ATX turbo. The motor smokes quite a bit, my mechanic thinks it could be worn out rings or blown seals in the turbo or both. I swapped to an LS motor. The motor was a transplant in my FJ60 when I bought it so I dont know how many KM are on it. Injectors were just rebuilt, new glow plugs, new A/C compressor and rebuilt starter. Asking 3K. OBO

Was it smoking on start up,under acceleration, idling? was it white smoke blue smoke? Any help in answering would be appreciated. just trying to see if it would be worth the work.

Sorry for the late reply. It is white smoke. Both at statup and acceleration

Sounds like a head gasket to me.
Would you sell without turbo?
I think we had a conversation about this before. Apologies, I don't really remember.
Please PM me if you think you could let it go without the turbo.
