2H 12volt
Replacing my 2H oil pressure sending unit.
Was told part number was 83520-60020 so I ordered it local.
83520-60020 says 5-i 24volt. My old sender says 2-J 12volt. (see picture)
I don't want to use the 83520-60020 if it is not going to work because as soon as I thread that on I can't return it.
Anyone know the part number for the 2-J 12volt sender, or will the new sender work?
Thanks

I can't answer with 100% certainty, but there's a reason there's a 12V version, and a 24V version. i wouldn't use it.

Did you try partsouq or the like, using your VIN to see what the part number should be? I'd start there. My HJ is 24V. I'll see what part number comes up for my truck and post it up.

EDIT: Ok, my 24V truck uses the 83520-60020.

@georgebj60 thanks.
Vehicle is a RHD FJ45 troopy 12 volt with a 2H transplanted in. Vin in partsouq shows "nothing found".
I did find part number 83520-60011 that is 12 volt and looks similar.
Cant tell if it is a "2-J" 12volt

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about the 2-J stamping. That could be a facility code, date code, or who knows what. I would be looking for the correct application (2H) and voltage.

That said, I could be totally wrong on that, and would enlist the help of a local (MUD) expert like @beno to help you out. He could probably get you sorted in no time. BUT, if you lean on resources like that on MUD, it behooves you to actually engage them to procure the part. I only say that because I see a lot of instances on this site where vendors are used for information, only to be passed over to save a dollar (literally).

partnumber is correct. It is spec. for 12V rhd hj60 (Aus)
it subs. from 83520-60010 to 83520-60011

Hi, wanted to ask on this thread, i have a 2H 3.9 Straight 6 Cylinder Diesel engine that was installed in a BJ43 1979 model. My seder unit that was installed in the car doesn't seem to be working, but only has one connection and i noticed on the above image there is a second lug connection, where is this connected to? the main bottom connection goes to the gauge. My vehicle is 12Volts. I think the sender unit is the incorrect one, not sure which is the correct part number for my vehicle?

Thanks in Advance, Savvas

Hi, did you ever find the correct part number for the 2H engine, could you please let me know as i have a similar issue? Is there 2 connectors on the oil pressure sender unit? Where does the second connection go to?

@savasdf sorry for the late response.
My sending unit only had 1 connection. I tried both 83520-60011 and 83520-60020 sending units and the gauge still showed no pressure so i just installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge from local auto store and it showed that my oil pressure was working so i stuck with that.
