I need a pic of the Cam gears if anyone has them for a 2F...
--------------
I wondered if anyone esle has run into this problem on a 2F. I have a tick in the engine that goes away as it warms up and as I rev the engine past 1800rpms.
I checked the valve lash and fuel pump .. I definately know it is not a rod knock.
The noise is coming from the cam gear area cover.
In my search on the LCML another poster sent me this information. I am pretty sure this is the problem I am having.
Anyone evr run into this scenario?
What gears did you use to replace.?

The thin groove on the large gear (cam) is actually a rubber isolater (a bit like a harmonic balancer).
This rubber can split and separate from the metal. In bad cases you can see through (from side to side).
This (aparantly) causes the tick -
thanks
