How bad is it smoking? How long have you run it? What color is the smoke?
A new gasket shouldnt smoke but sometimes the hands that changed them can be a little greasy... grease on exhaust components smoke! Will burn off pretty fast
Could aslo be one of those random coincidences? I once had a off duty installer, install a remote start on a Cruiser- when I picked it up I had major white smoke out the tail pipe... Blown Headgasket

Your right...it could be just a coincidense. I am thinking heard gasket....its blowing white smoke.

Question: would bad gas or old gas cause smokey exhaust? the fuel in the vehicle is probably 2 years old.....
Diesel in the gasoline would cause it.
native smoke signals dont last if water
does the smoke disappate quickly or linger for longer than a minute?
does the exhaust smell like transmission oil?
or radiator fluid?
