Searching for a rebuildable cylinder head. Does anyone know of a list of casting numbers that are interchangeable? I have a 61040 casting and have found a good 61030. What are the differences?

Engine ID numbers, May not help with your head question. From memory 1978 is the cut off between two different head designs. But I may be wrong. If you know the month and year of your head I'm sure someone here can tell you what other years are interchangeable.
