Anyone have a distributor that they are parting-out? I'm looking for a cam, and springs. I working on a '75 USA spec dizzy, but, I don't know for sure if it has to come from the same one. I'll entertain ideas.

I've got a large supply of new OEM 6-cylinder distributor cams, the machined slots are stamped "10.5" and "12.5". Originally not for Land Cruiser applications but it has the same dimensions and rotor orientation. I recently installed one of these in an FJ60 distributor to build a points distributor for another MUD member If you ever decide to upgrade to a big cap distributor, points or electronic, let me know.
 
@4Cruisers If I can find springs, I'll consider your cam. I'll probably also order an other rebuilt kit to go with it. Maybe, also the vacuum advance unit too.

Do you have one of those pins that fit the gear? I'm thinking about having a lathe rebuild for the posts on the governor shaft, opening up possibilities for one of my distributors.

Basically, if anyone has any distributor for parts from an early 2F USA spec, then I'm interested - bump.
 
Yes, 61020 is the right part. Let me let it simmer. I'm trying to rehab my old unit for entertainment value, and to not be storing parts that will never get used, even if it means connecting with a talented machine shop.
 
If @Dizzy passes, I'd be interested in the distributor. I've got all the parts for an almost complete rebuild, including advancer.

I have new OEM gear pins, but won't be back in New Mexico for about 10 days.
