Any info on that?

By just going from the Toyota 2F engine manual, there’s 2 pages talking about the cylinder head valve seats during an overhaul and none of the info mentions replacing the seats. It’s either cut one way or another. Personally I don’t know.
You’d think that if replacing the seats was an option, they’d mention it in the manual, like they do with the valve guide bushings.

You can buy OEM seats from ayamana still. You may have to carefully machine the old seats out or find/make a tool that will allow you to grab the backside of the seat, but you could remove them if you’re determined. I’m in the same boat and I may have to do it, however I have a USA spec truck. I know hardened seats were regulated in the 70’s or 80’s here and they may have only been installed on usa spec vehicles. I don’t know.
